Dear Devotees
My dandabat pranam to you all.
As many of you will be aware, Srila Gurudev is soon to embark on his return journey from Russia to India via the London Math and is expected to arrive first week of November.
Srila Gurudev has repeated and stressed many times that he does not consider this a preaching tour, it is natural that many will be drawn to have his darshan. The daily itinerary will depend very much upon his health.
As you know our London Temple is very small and accommodation is extremely difficult. We will try to find accommodation for the visiting devotees with our local community but this will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so please do let us know if you are planning to come and hoping for accommodation. If we are unable to find anywhere for you there are some cheap but decent hotels in the nearby area that cost from about £10 per person per night (based on 3 sharing a room) and are within a bus ride from the London Math. These are the Formule One Hotel and Newham Hotel. You would need to make your own bookings and arrangements with the hotel.
We are humbly requesting all devotees attending the festivities during Srila Gurudev's stay to make some service contribution towards the costs, according to their means. We suggest that each adult should contribute a minimum of £50 for the duration but whatever you can give from your heart will be most appreciated.
As previously we anticipate that if Srila Govinda Maharaj is feeling well and wishes to meet with devotees, then the most likely times are very early in the morning and mid-afternoon. At all other times and especially during prasadam we would ask everyone to please respect Srila Govinda Maharaj's privacy.
