What we present here is a general plan; the factors involved are multiple and may change at anytime by the sweet will of the Lord and the order of Sri Guru.

Building Requirements
1. Existing planning permission for multiple occupancy and assembly.
2. Room for temple functions and formal assemblies, accommodating 250.
3. Room for dining, informal assemblies, accommodating 200.
4. Separate flat or cottage for Srila Gurudeva, with a minimum of two bedrooms, kitchen and large darshan room.
5. 10 – 20 rooms for ashram residents, preferably on 2 – 3 wings or floors.
6. Large commercial grade kitchen.
7. Parking space for at least five vehicles.
8. Location within 20 miles of Heathrow Airport and 30 miles from Central London.
9. Due to financing restrictions the property must be a commercial, easily re-saleable one, not a church or other building designed substantially for religious gatherings.

Plan of Action
1. Campaign for substantial one-off contributions, increasing our cash down-payment building fund to between £100,000 and £200,000.
2. Campaign to develop substantial commitments from devotees and members for regular monthly contributions to meet projected monthly mortgage costs in the range of £4,000 to £5,000.
3. After receiving three to four months of regular contributions in the target range, we shall move to obtain a commitment from a bank for financing. Estimated costs for our required building are £750,000 to £1,000,000. To facilitate quick approval, guarantors (those who hold substantial assets) for at least part of the total, are likely to be needed.
4. With financing approved for a specific amount, including a plan in place to obtain the requisite 25%-30% down-payment monies required, we shall begin searching for a building that best meets our requirements, Best property values have been found at auctions, notably former care homes and hotels.
